Iwe Refunds and Returns Policy

If you are unhappy with any of your book items please let us know. Download, fill and send us a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 30 days of the receipt of the book/item.

You are eligible for a refund/exchange within 30 days after the delivery date of your book item. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to an error on the bookseller’s part, or if the book item did not arrive or where the item was received defective or damaged. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition, that means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging and returned with any accessories, manuals, documentations, labels, “free gifts” or bonus items.

If 30 days have gone by before you request for a refund or exchange we will not be able to grant any of your requests.

Booksellers are permitted to have a ‘Final Sale’ policy on ebooks only. If you are ordering an ebook, review the bookseller’s Terms of Sale carefully and order only if this policy is acceptable.

 

Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged

You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, if your return is as a result of an error on the bookseller’s part. If you received the incorrect book or if it arrived damaged, you shall be refunded the purchase price and original shipping charges. To receive a refund, you must return your item directly to the bookseller within 30 days after the delivery date and in the same condition you received it.

For books returned as ‘Not as described,’ you shall be responsible for paying for your return shipping costs of the book item unless the book item was declared faulty.

Items may only be exchanged if damaged or defective upon receipt but not as a result of shipping manhandling or mishandling by the Buyer. Where book item was shipped in a good condition, an exchange will be inapplicable.

Book Did Not Arrive

You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, if your book item has not arrived as at the Estimated Delivery Date and up until 30 days after the estimated delivery date. If the bookseller provides tracking information indicating the book item has arrived, your refund request automatically becomes void. A refund request for the reason ‘item did not arrive’ will automatically expire7 days after the refund request is initiated through your Iwe account.

Where a book item is returned to the Bookseller for any of the following reasons: incomplete address, unclaimed, returned to sender, or any other similar reasons, the Buyer shall be notified and be entitled to only the purchase price of the book  item. Where shipping again to the Buyer, all shipping costs shall be borne by the Buyer.

Buyer Does Not Want Item

The majority of our booksellers are happy to accept returns if you’ve changed your mind about a book item. We recommend contacting the bookseller directly before initiating these returns, as otherwise the return may be cancelled.

For orders placed on Iwe.store, the Bookseller is required to accept your return request. For these returns, if the book is returned in the same condition as you received it , you will  be refunded the purchase price of the book. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Partial Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason but still wish to keep the book, you can negotiate a partial refund with the bookseller for an amount that is agreeable to both parties. Partial refunds can be issued on the book price, the shipping amount, or both. Please note that while you may request a partial refund, the bookseller is not obligated to provide one and, depending on your reason for the request, the Bookseller may prefer that you return the book for a full refund instead.

Return Shipping is calculated as the original shipping cost and when refundable, is added to the refund which shall be payable within 14 working days after the return receipt of the book by the seller. Return shipping labels are not provided.

Once approved, your refund will be processed to your payment card/Bank Account or the original method of payment within 14 working days after the Bookseller receives the book item. We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns or insure the returned item for safe return to us as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your shipped book item. If the book item does not arrive and tracking is not provided, the refund will be cancelled. Once a return/refund request has been cancelled, you cannot submit another return/refund request.

Non Refunds

Sale items are Non-refundable.

Where items are returned in an “unsaleable condition”.

Where items have been used, mishandled and not delivered in the same original condition of receipt.

Items returned more than 30 days after the estimated date of delivery to the Buyer.
